About the Brand
Founded in 1927, the Furla label remains true to Italy, its country of origin; the master of leather goods expertise. Always respectful of its family tradition, the company is now led by a strong managerial office. Balanced between classicism and renewal, Furla owes its success to a constant self-questioning and a willingness to change. By the 1980s, the brand decides to export abroad and to use a network of franchises. As a result, Furla is now present in 1,000 outlets and more than 63 countries. With its head office historically located in Bologna, the brand takes part in some international development: it becomes ambassador of Italian culture, by opening up stores in all the legendary fashion streets such as Paris’ Saint Honoré street, New York City’s Madison Avenue and Rome’s Via dei Condotti.

It becomes renowned thanks to original textures: the combination of fine leather and exotic animal skins for example. The Italian craftsmanship combined with imagination and exceptional skills makes Furla a traditional and yet contemporary brand. Furla designs are timeless. Spring/Summer 2015 Collection
For spring-summer 2015, Furla honours coral: combining the coulor-block of white and taupe on the Kelis and College models, or in monochrome on the Linda and Stacy models for a feminine and always summery rendering. A breath of sea air is also in the collection: blue lagoon or ocean and white petal sublimate saffiano leather in the Dolis, Royal and Metropolis lines. A bit of sweetness is provided by the pink hibiscus that are the Liz and Alice lines. The iconic Candy Bag is proposed in decidedly fun and romantic versions: with silver sequins. A leather brand with very traditional routes, the Furla offers the new Twiggy size: the hobo bag with clean and clever designs, inlcuding three compartments. Finally, the Metropolis line is offered in a wallet size, more elongated and with three compartments.
