About the Barbara Bui brand

The brand Barbara Bui fashion house was founded in 1987. This date is very important; it is the first fashion show of the full collection to International press and buyers. It’s a huge success. One year after the opening of the first boutique, another one opens in Paris. The brand is introduced on the stock market. She creates Barbara Bui Initials, a separate concept that marvellously completes the spirit of her line.

In 1999, she holds her first fashion show in New York and opens her first boutique in the heart of Soho. In 2000 the brand launches its first luxury accessories collection, enhancing the success of the brand’s image: a rock’n’roll chic spirit. Three years later a perfume is created. The label extends with the creation of a knitting line: stitch enters in the fashion world.

Barbara Bui embodies Parisian elegance as well as the art of adapting the couture spirit to contemporary rhythms.

Collection

A positive collection that is full of energy. The confrontation of diverse cultures, the fluidity of the 30s, Art Deco graphics, and the ethnicities of South America… this summer’s collection is that of a multi-faceted woman, bright and inspiring.

Bowling bags and clutches play with flashy colors, made divine by extremely fine materials such as crocodile, python and serpent. While the ethnic embroidery, a signature of Barbara Bui, bring a tiny touch of madness and invite us to travel, the tie-dye and raffia bags bring a bit of bohemia and rock’n’roll.
