About the brand

Big French house, Carven was born in 1945 after the Second World War thanks to the association of names Carmen and Boyriven. The brand began with haute couture collections and is known thanks to the mythical dress in green and white stripes. Gradually, the company developed a line for children, but also men and a perfume named Ma Griffe which remindsthe success of the green and white stripped print.
Under the leadership of Guillaume Henry, arrived in 2009,  Carven house takes a new breath. Claudine collars, skirts, shorts and suits with printed mix, Carven rapidly becomes the new brand which promotes a showing a playful, romantic and intellectual silhouette.


Barely thirty years, Guillaume Henry is one of the most acclaimed designers of his generation. Having made his debut with Riccardo Tisci at Givenchy or Paule Ka, he was selected to develop Carven house.
His point of view? Perpetuate Carven house craft which reminds the Haute Couture of his beginnings, while offering luxurious silhouettes at accessible prices. The result? Carven has become the favorite brand of fashionistas in which all girls dream of parading!

Fall Winter 2014 Collection

This season, Guillaume Henry was inspired by the cool girls around him in high school, with an adolescent spirit in of the 90s. "I felt I needed to create something a little more rebellious this time," he said backstage after the show. Printed camouflage, gingham pink and blue and ultra-feminine flowers were key this summer. But as usual, it was the customary use of patterns by Henry that made the collection so special.
