From the beginning the tandem was one of the motors of the brand and its main source of inspiration and creativity of Dolce & Gabbana and D & G.

Designer

The most fashionable creative duo in the fashion world!

Stephano Gabbana trained in graphic design while Domenico Dolce focused his studies on the fashion world. They met in 1980. Both were working in the same workshop in Venice. Both artistic and human complicity was immediate. They decided to move into the fashion world independently.

He first fashion show took place in Milan in 1985 and their first collection was shown to the public in 1986. The success was incredible! Four years later, the first men''s collection was unveiled.

Both dreaming fashion aficionados are decidedly complementary. Dolce & Gabbana unveil some of their inspiration: "Armani for discipline, Alaia for madness, Chanel for its couture concept and Jean-Paul Gaultier for his creativity."

Collection

The D&G collection is sensual:  the accessory is essential. It brings life to a look and ensures style and personality. D&G manages to combine elegance with popular trends.

Although the items are simple, their finish is neat and precise. No detail is left to chance.

Sunglasses are large. Their design is modern. The originality lies in the abundance of colours: white, black, coloured edging, red, brown, checkered, speckled. The brand logo, customized according to the model is written on the arms in a discrete manner in rhinestones or metal.
