Elena Meyer

About the brand

“Elena Meyer” brand was founded in 1997 in Paris. Born in St.Petersburg, she then moved to France to continue her studies in classic French jewelry.
The main focus of her first collection was on silver and semi precious stones jewelry, but she soon extended her creativity to other accessories. Elena’s first show raised an immediate success with a distinctive avant-garde collection of leather cuffs adorned with Swarovski crystals and military style belts. She soon established her “punk-rock” esthetic that she later brought to bag design as well.

Very quickly her collections appealed to the world. In 2010 she shows her new jewelry and belt collection in Paris. Her very personal way of transforming materials, making real jewels out of metal and leather in an always chic and elegant spirit, shows all boldness of her “classic destroy” style. She once said: “Don’t follow fashion – create your own style”…

From the onset of her company, Elena Meyer designed also for big fashion houses such as Armani and Celine.

During this period she moved her company to Florence, Italy. This allowed her to be more hands-on in the development and production of her collections while at the same time keeping up her design consultancy with major fashion companies.

From 2004 till 2010 Elena Meyer temporarily takes a break in the development of her own brand and dedicates herself to consultancy and artistic direction in leather accessories and jewellery for other fashion houses.

In October 2010 she shows her new jewellery and belt collection in Paris after long break attracting again international buyers as well as press.
