She then worked as a consultant in New York, London and Bangkok for such houses as Armani, Chloé, Moschino and Michiko Koshino. Fiona Paxton has rapidly established herself as a force to be reckoned with behind the scenes of fashion shows everywhere. In less than a year, Paxton managed to craft a distinctive profile for her line of accessories. The designer launched her eponymous label in 2008, in which she showcased a mix of Indian-inspired jewelry with a touch of British punk styling.
Fiona Paxton’s jewelry is immediately recognizable. Her signature piece is a long bead-embroidered necklace with the two ends linked by multiple fine chains which can be spotted on many celebrities.
The modern lines of the pieces reflect a dedication to detail, appetite for travel and taste for only the most beautiful of objects. She has also managed to cleverly combine the British punk style of leather cuffs and chains with the geometric lines and shapes which are more specific to the Bauhaus style.
