About the Isabel Marant brand
The Isabel Marant brand was born in 1994. The first collection played with contrasts and borrowed shapes and materials from menswear.
A touch of rock accentuated the femininity and audacity of the collection. Launched in 2000, the Etoile line offers a range of more affordable clothing. It created the outline of a casual adventurer. At the birth of her son in 2004, she decided to create a line for children.
Isabel Marant appreciates natural materials "for their comfort and their nobility".
Isabel Marant was born in 1967. After studying at the Berçot studio from 1985 to 1987, she created a small line of jewelry and accessories named the same.
In 1990, she launched the "Twen" brand, a line specialized in knitwear and jersey, which four years later would become Isabel Marant. Her collection was on the podium for the first time in spring 1995. With a view to constantly developing her brand, she created the “Etoile” line in 2000, a line more suited to everyday life and more affordable.
One year after the birth of her son in 2003 she decided to launch a children’s line.

The designer was imbued with the multitude of cultures found in the Americas. Isabel Marant scoured Latin America on her passage through India to bring us ethnic and 70s pieces.
